Lockdown Countryside
Painted plein air (in the garden) with a glass of Pimms during the as I write this, ongoing Covid19 lockdown. A piece of countryside I encountered many years back, near Kew if I remember correctly. I couldn't visit the countryside so I brought it to me, sort of. A topical painting of the times and enforced isolation from the outside world at the time of painting (April 2020).
Painted in oils on a gessoed wooden board (3mm) and framed in a professionally made wooden frame, ready to hang. Image size is 9ins X 12ins. Framed size is 10ins x 13ins.
