Haverthwaite Station after the Shower
Part of Haverthwaite Railway Station near Lake Windermere, Cumbria, England. The station boasts a museum containing old steam locomotives, old vehicles and machinery, a tea shop and a gift shop. I love the higgledy-piggledy hand-writing on the signs, it really is like that. I have tried to retain the character and charm of the station.
The painting is in oils on a wooden board with three coats of gesso primer. In a wooden frame of mahogany and gold stain and ready to hang. The image size is 16ins X 12ins. The framed size is 18ins X 14ins.
