A painting of a tree in Alexandra Park, Hastings, East Sussex, which had been cut down for safety reasons, to leave about six feet of trunk standing with branches lopped off. The remaining trunk became a living sculpture in the park.
The painting is in oils on a primed linen-covered mdf board. Unframed. 8ins X 12ins. The final coat of paint was a thin glaze to bring out the sparkle and sheen. A living abstract.
